We have four board members with terms expiring at the end of our fiscal year in November: Angie Drabik, Glenn Weichert, Connie Niemann-Heyer, and Mary Davis. The board thanks them for their years of service and contributions to our chapter. "We couldn't have done it without you!!"

Now, these openings need to be filled following the procedure outlined in our bylaws. The complete bylaws are on this website.

While Mary Davis voiced her wish to retire, Angie, Glenn and Connie all expressed a desire to continue with the board for a second term.

Following the bylaws, the board established a nominating committee earlier this year. At a board meeting on August 27^th, the committee presented the following slate of candidates for new terms beginning December, 2009, and the board unanimously approved it:

Connie Heyer, Business Partner

Glenn Weichert, Business Partner

Susie Dortch, Community Association Volunteer

Per our bylaws, the nomination of members in good standing to serve as directors may also be made by written petition signed by 5 members, as well as by the nominee so as to indicate his or her willingness to serve. Petitions must be received by me on behalf of the board by October 29, 2009.
